After a heart-pounding race, not for the faint of heart, between the champions of the 30th edition, BEES Pesaro and Motion Basketball Toronto, which concluded with a score of 64 – 52, it was the Canadian team that took home the Mini Basketball Cup in the square, this year also supported by FIBA.
Despite the weather not allowing the finals to take place as usual in the beautiful Piazza Vittorio Veneto, lit up for the occasion, the Palasassi on Saturday evening transformed into the perfect Arena, worthy of hosting the two finals, which also saw Snaiperis Kaunas – LITHUANIA vs Hoops Club – LEBANON in action. After another fantastic match, the Lithuanians managed to prevail, taking home the third-place cup.
